Exchange Bitcoin to PayPal (BTC → USD)
Start an exchange
Use this pair when you need to turn bitcoins into dollars in your PayPal account. You send BTC to the address from your order, and the BTCChange24 operator manually pays out to the PayPal account with the e-mail you entered.
Below you will find the rate, a calculator with a table, limits, timings, an explanation of the order fields and answers to common questions. The rate, limits and reserve update automatically.
Important. Send BTC only to the address from your own order and only the amount stated there. The dollars arrive in the PayPal account whose e-mail you entered, so check that address before you send any bitcoins.
BTC to USD rate for PayPal payouts
The PayPal payout is calculated at the exchange rate, which follows the Bitcoin market. The chart shows the price movement of the coin itself, and the rate for this direction is shown below.
- Minimum amount
- 0.00125 BTC
- Maximum amount
- 0.125 BTC
- Reserve
- 880,931.52 USD
The rate here is floating. It is fixed once your transfer receives the required number of network confirmations, so the final amount may shift until then. To know the amount in advance, select the paid option "Fixed rate" in the form.
Crypto to PayPal Exchange
BTCChange24 sends your cryptocurrency as US dollars to your PayPal account. You send Bitcoin (BTC) and receive USD in your PayPal account.
- What you send: BTC, for example 1 BTC or any other amount within the limits, from 0.00125 BTC to 0.125 BTC.
- What you receive: US dollars (USD) to the PayPal account whose e-mail is specified in the order.
- How the exchange works: the rate is 80,917.08. The fee is included in the rate, and the final amount is shown in the form before the order is created.
To start, choose Bitcoin BTC and PayPal USD in the exchange form. For full terms, see the site rules.
PayPal P2P crypto exchange
If you are looking for a way to sell Bitcoin and receive money on PayPal, this direction does not require you to negotiate with a private buyer. You create an order on BTCChange24, send BTC to the address in the order, and the operator makes the USD payout.
- Counterparty. You deal with an exchange service, not with a separate person you have to find yourself.
- What you receive. US dollars (USD) to the PayPal account whose e-mail you enter in the order.
- Who makes the payout. The operator processes the order manually, so the payout takes 30 minutes to 72 hours.
- What to enter. Only two fields: the e-mail of your PayPal account and your e-mail for contact.
The final amount in USD is shown in the form before you create the order. To see it, choose Bitcoin BTC and PayPal USD in the exchange form and enter the amount of BTC.
How many dollars reach your PayPal for your BTC
Enter the amount of bitcoin in the calculator to see the approximate sum in USD. Calculations for popular amounts are already collected in the table.

| You send | You receive | Rate per 1 BTC |
|---|---|---|
| 0.005 BTC | ≈ 404.58 USD | 80,917.08 USD |

Why the value for 1 BTC differs from row to row
In this direction the rate depends on the exchange amount, so each table row has its own rate. The calculator and the exchange form use the same conditions.
The calculation is approximate. The exact amount is set at the moment the rate is fixed after network confirmations.

Step 1. Create an order
In the exchange form, choose Bitcoin BTC and PayPal USD, then enter the amount of BTC. The form immediately shows how many dollars you will receive.
Open the BTC to PayPal USD exchange form
The order requires two fields:
- PayPal account e-mail: the account address where the payout should arrive;
- E-mail: your e-mail for contact about the order.
Before you confirm the order, check the amount and the PayPal address. Enable only the paid options you actually need.
Step 2. Send BTC
Once the order is created, the site shows the address and the transfer amount. Send exactly this amount of BTC from your wallet or exchange to exactly this address.
- Copy the full address and compare its beginning and end with the order.
- If you send from an exchange, account for its withdrawal fee so that the full order amount reaches the exchange.
- Save the TXID, as you will need it when contacting support.
Step 3. Receive USD in PayPal
After network confirmations, the operator takes the order and sends the payout to your PayPal account. If you have questions, write to support on the site or in Telegram.
Exchange limits and USD reserve for PayPal payouts
A single order is accepted for an amount from 0.00125 BTC to 0.125 BTC.
The direction's reserve is currently 880,931.52 USD, and PayPal payouts are made from this amount. If your exchange goes beyond the limits or exceeds the reserve, the form will warn you, and you can then reduce the amount or clarify the details with support.
When dollars appear in your PayPal account
The total time consists of two stages: the network confirms your transfer, then the operator manually makes the payout.
Network confirmations
Until your transfer receives the required number of confirmations, the rate stays floating and the order does not move forward. The required number of confirmations is listed in the site rules. The speed depends on network load and the network fee you chose when sending.
Manual payout
PayPal orders are processed by the operator, and the payout takes 30 minutes to 72 hours. If you want it faster, the form includes the paid option "I need it urgently".
If the time has passed and the USD has not arrived
- Find the TXID of the transfer in your wallet or on the exchange.
- Open the transaction in a block explorer and check how many confirmations it has.
- Make sure the address and amount match the order.
- If everything is correct but the payout time has passed, write to support.
In your message, include the order number and the TXID. There is no need to send BTC again.
Fees when exchanging bitcoin for PayPal
BTCChange24 does not charge a separate fee for the exchange: the fee is already included in the rate. The form shows the final USD amount before you create the order.
What you pay yourself
When you send BTC, you pay the network fee, which does not go to the exchange. Its size depends on your wallet and network load, and if you withdraw from an exchange, that exchange's withdrawal fee also applies.
Paid form options
- "Personal payment to friends";
- "I need it urgently";
- "I need a payment screenshot";
- "I want to receive it in one payment";
- "Priority support";
- "Pay for a product or service by link:";
- "Tip the service";
- "Add a comment to the payment";
- "Fixed rate".
Each option is optional. How an option changes the final amount is visible in the form before you create the order.
How to compare offers from different exchanges
Enter the same amount of BTC everywhere and compare how many dollars reach PayPal. Compare the final amount, not percentages.
How to enter your PayPal e-mail correctly in the order
The payout goes to the address you entered, and the exchange cannot guess what you meant. That is why you should check the order fields before sending bitcoins.
- PayPal account e-mail. This is the account address where the dollars will arrive. Copy it from your PayPal account settings rather than typing it from memory.
- E-mail. This is the address used to contact you about the order. It can match the PayPal address, but it is a separate field.
If you need to tell the operator something about the payment, use the paid option "Add a comment to the payment". The option "I need a payment screenshot" suits cases where you need confirmation of the payout.
Noticed a mistake in the address after creating the order? Do not send BTC: create a new order or contact support right away.
Security: what to watch for when withdrawing BTC to PayPal
Check the PayPal address character by character
One extra letter or a look-alike domain can send your dollars to someone else's account or nowhere at all. Compare the address in the order with the one in your PayPal profile.
Never share your PayPal password
The account e-mail is all you need for the payout. Neither the operator nor support needs your password, confirmation codes or login details.
Take BTC details only from your order
The transfer address is always shown on the page of your current order. Old addresses from past exchanges and "new details" in private messages must not be used.
Make payments to another person deliberately
If the PayPal account receiving the funds is not yours, make sure the owner knows about the payment. The form includes the options "Personal payment to friends" and "Pay for a product or service by link:". Clarify the conditions for using them in the form or with support before you send BTC.
Communicate only through official channels
Resolve questions about your order through support on the site or in Telegram, which the site links to. Do not respond to strangers who offer to "speed up" the exchange.
What to do if your BTC to PayPal exchange goes wrong
BTC sent, but the order status has not changed
Check whether the transfer has a TXID. If it does not, the transaction never went out to the network, which can happen when withdrawing from exchanges. If there is a TXID, wait for confirmations and compare the address and amount with the order.
The order contains a wrong PayPal e-mail
If you have not sent BTC yet, create a new order with the correct address. If the transfer has already gone out, contact support immediately and give the order number so the payout is not made by mistake.
A different amount of BTC was sent
Do not try to send the difference in a separate transfer. Tell support the order number, the actual amount and the TXID.
The total in dollars differs from the calculation
The rate is floating and is fixed after the required number of confirmations, so the result may have moved with the market. Next time, you can select the "Fixed rate" option.
The order is completed, but the USD is not visible in PayPal
First, check that you are looking at the account whose e-mail is listed in the order, and review your PayPal transaction history. If the money still does not appear, write to support with the order number.
