Exchange Bitcoin to PayPal (BTC → EUR)
Start an exchange
This page is for anyone who wants to withdraw bitcoin to PayPal and receive euros. You send BTC to the details in your order, and the BTCChange24 operator manually credits EUR to the PayPal account linked to the e-mail you provided.
Below you will find the rate, calculator, calculation table, limits, reserve, timing and the steps to follow. Live values for the rate, limits and reserve are loaded from the exchanger.
Important. The euros go to the PayPal account whose e-mail address you entered in the order, and one wrong letter will send the payout to the wrong place. Before you send BTC, reread the e-mail address and send bitcoin only to the details in your own order.
Bitcoin to euro rate for PayPal payouts
The rate for this pair moves with the market. The page shows it in two forms: the coin price chart and the calculated rate for the PayPal payout. Look at the chart first, then at the rate block below it.
- Minimum amount
- 0.00125 BTC
- Maximum amount
- 0.125 BTC
- Reserve
- 1,034,426.12 EUR
The rate in this direction floats. It is fixed once your transfer receives the required number of confirmations on the bitcoin network. If you need to know the amount in advance, tick the paid option «Fixed rate» in the form.
Convert Bitcoin BTC to PayPal EUR
You send Bitcoin (BTC) and receive a payout to your PayPal account in euros, currency code EUR. To start, choose BTC and EUR in the exchange form.
- You send: Bitcoin, BTC.
- You receive: PayPal, EUR, payout to your PayPal account.
- For the payout you need the e-mail address of your PayPal account, which you enter in the order form, along with your contact e-mail.
Make sure your PayPal account can receive euros. PayPal's own terms govern how incoming funds are handled, and BTCChange24 has no effect on this.
Rate reference in the form: 1 BTC = 67,435.54 EUR. Check the final amount in euros in the form before you create the order.
How many euros reach your PayPal for your BTC
Enter the amount of BTC you want to exchange into the calculator, and it will show how many euros you can receive in your PayPal account. For common amounts, the table below already has ready calculations.
Rate for this amount: 1 BTC = 66,113.27 EUR
| You send | You receive | Rate per 1 BTC |
|---|---|---|
| 0.005 BTC | ≈ 337.17 EUR | 67,435.53 EUR |
| 0.01 BTC | ≈ 674.35 EUR | 67,435.53 EUR |
| 0.05 BTC | ≈ 3,305.66 EUR | 66,113.27 EUR |
| 0.1 BTC | ≈ 6,547.13 EUR | 65,471.39 EUR |
Why the result depends on the exchange size
Here the rate depends on the amount: a larger or smaller BTC volume may get a different rate, which is why the rate differs between table rows. The calculator and the table count under the conditions that apply in the exchange form.
The result is indicative. The rate floats, so the exact euro amount is set when the rate is fixed, after network confirmations.

Payout sent≈ 3,305.66 EURto your PayPal accountPayout time: 30 minutes to 72 hours
Step 1. Create an order
In the exchange form, choose Bitcoin BTC as the currency you send and PayPal EUR as the currency you receive, then enter the amount. The form shows the euro payout amount before you create the order.
Open the BTC → PayPal EUR exchange form
The order has two fields: «PayPal account e-mail» and «Your contact e-mail». If you need extra paid options, such as «Add a comment to the payment», tick them before submitting the order.
Step 2. Send BTC
After you create the order, the site shows the address and the amount to send. Copy them from the order itself, not from old exchanges or messages.
- Check the beginning and the end of the pasted address against the address on the order page.
- When withdrawing from an exchange, make sure the exact amount from the order reaches the exchanger after the exchange's own fee is deducted.
- Save the TXID of the transfer: you will need it if you have to contact support.
Step 3. Receive euros on PayPal
The network confirms the transfer, the operator processes the order and sends the euros to your PayPal account. While the payout is pending, keep the order number and TXID at hand.
BTC exchange limits and euro reserve for PayPal
The exchanger accepts from 0.00125 BTC to 0.125 BTC per order.
The reserve for this direction currently holds 1,034,426.12 EUR: these are the euros from which the operator makes payouts. If your amount does not fit the limits or exceeds the reserve, the form will tell you, and support will advise on next steps.
How long until euros reach PayPal
The total time depends on two stages: while the network confirms your transfer, and then while the operator manually makes the payout.
Stage one: network confirmations
Until the transfer receives the required number of confirmations, the rate is not fixed and the order stays in place. The required number of confirmations is listed in the site rules. Speed depends on network load and on the network fee you chose when sending.
Stage two: payout by the operator
The PayPal payout takes 30 minutes to 72 hours, because orders are processed manually by an operator. If you want the money sooner, the form has a paid option «I need it urgently».
If the payout is delayed
- Find the TXID of the transfer in your wallet or on the exchange.
- Open the transaction in a block explorer and check how many confirmations it has.
- Check that the address and amount in the transfer match the order.
- If everything is in order and the payout period has passed, contact support.
In your message, include the order number and the TXID. Do not send the bitcoin a second time.
Fees when exchanging bitcoin to PayPal
BTCChange24 charges no separate fee for the exchange: it is included in the rate. You see the amount to receive in the form before you create the order.
What you pay separately
When sending BTC, you pay a network fee that goes to miners, not to the exchanger. Its size depends on your wallet and network load. If you withdraw bitcoin from an exchange, that exchange may charge its own withdrawal fee.
Paid options in the form
- «Personal payment to friends»;
- «I need it urgently»;
- «Payment screenshot required»;
- «I want to receive it in one payment»;
- «Priority support»;
- «Pay for a product or service by link»;
- «Tip the service»;
- «Add a comment to the payment»;
- «Fixed rate».
None of them is required. The form shows how each one affects the total before you create the order.
How to compare offers
Enter the same amount of BTC in different exchangers and compare how many euros you would receive on PayPal. The final amount tells you more than any stated percentage.
What to enter in the PayPal payout order
The payout goes to the account you specify in the order. So check both fields before you send BTC.
- PayPal account e-mail. This is the address you use to log in to PayPal and where the euros should arrive. It is better to copy it from your account settings than to type it by hand.
- Your contact e-mail. The operator will contact you about the order at this address. It can match the PayPal address, but it does not have to; what matters is that the mailbox works.
If the payout needs special handling, use the paid options «Personal payment to friends», «Add a comment to the payment» or «Payment screenshot required». If you made a mistake in the e-mail after creating the order, do not send BTC: create a new order or contact support right away.
How to avoid mistakes and keep your BTC to PayPal exchange safe
Do not share access to PayPal
The exchange only needs the e-mail address of your account. It does not need your password, one-time codes or access to your profile. Anyone who asks for them «to speed up the payout» has nothing to do with the exchanger.
Check the address in your order
Send BTC only to the address shown in your current order. Ignore emails and messages with a different address that claim to come from support.
Be careful with other people's PayPal accounts
Enter only a PayPal account to which you have full access. If the euros are meant for another person, agree on this with support in advance and review the paid option «Personal payment to friends».
Beware of fake emails
Do not open links to «payment confirmation» or «order unlock» in emails from strangers. Check the order status on the exchanger's website, and resolve questions through support on the site or in Telegram.
If your BTC to PayPal exchange does not go as planned
BTC sent, but the status does not change
First, find the TXID. If there is none, the transfer may not have reached the network, especially when withdrawing from an exchange. If there is a TXID, wait for confirmations and check the address and amount against the order.
Received fewer euros than expected
The rate floats and is fixed after the required number of confirmations, so it may have moved while you were waiting. Next time, you can choose the «Fixed rate» option.
Order closed, but no payment in PayPal
Check that you entered the correct e-mail in the order and that you are logged in to the right PayPal account. Look at your transaction history and incoming mail. If the payment still cannot be found, contact support with the order number.
Wrong PayPal e-mail entered
If the bitcoin has not been sent yet, create a new order with the correct address. If the transfer has already been sent, notify support right away and do not wait for the payout to complete.
A different amount of BTC was sent
Do not send the difference in a separate transfer. Contact support and provide the order number, the amount actually sent and the TXID.
