If you hold ether and need lari in a bank account, this direction is for you. You send ETH over the ERC20 network to the address in your order, and the BTCChange24 operator manually transfers lari to your account by IBAN.

Below you will find the ETH to GEL rate, a calculator, limits, timing and step-by-step instructions. The rate, limits and reserve are pulled from the exchange automatically.

Important. Send ETH only to the address from your own order, over the ERC20 network and in the specified amount. The lari will go to the account whose IBAN you enter, so check it against your bank details before sending the ether.

ETH to GEL Rate: What Affects the Amount You Receive

Ether trades on the market around the clock, and its exchange rate for lari moves with it. The chart shows the market price of ETH, and the conditions for this exchange direction are listed below.

Convert Ethereum (ETH) to Georgian Lari (GEL)

At BTCChange24 you send Ethereum ERC20 (ETH) and receive Georgian lari (GEL) by bank transfer to your bank account. To start, choose Ethereum ERC20 and Bank transfer GEL in the exchange form.

  • a wallet or exchange with ETH that can send ether over the ERC20 network;
  • a bank account that accepts GEL, and its IBAN;
  • a phone number linked to your bank and a working e-mail address.

Payouts take 30 minutes to 72 hours. The exchange charges no separate fee, and the final amount appears in the form before you create the order. Other terms are in the site rules.

Why the rate differs for different amounts

The result is approximate. The final amount will be known once the rate is locked, unless you chose the fixed rate option.

    Payout time: 30 minutes to 72 hours

Step 1. Create an order

Choose Ethereum ERC20 as the currency you send and Bank transfer GEL as the currency you receive in the exchange form, then enter the amount. The form will convert it into lari immediately.

Open the ETH to GEL exchange form

Next, fill in the order fields:

  • IBAN of the account that should receive the lari;
  • first and last name of the recipient;
  • phone number linked to the bank;
  • e-mail.

Before creating the order, compare the amount and details with your bank information. Enable paid options only if you need them.

Step 2. Send ETH

After the order is created, the site will show the address and amount. Send ether from your wallet or exchange over the ERC20 network, exactly as shown.

  • Check the full address, not just the first characters.
  • If you withdraw from an exchange, account for its fee so that the amount from the order reaches the exchange.
  • Save the transaction hash: you will need it if you contact support.

Step 3. Wait for the lari in your account

Once the network confirms the transfer, the operator will manually process the order and send lari to your IBAN. If anything is unclear, contact support on the site or in Telegram.

Amount Limits and Lari Reserve

In one order you can exchange from 0.019 ETH to 370.37 ETH.

The reserve currently available for payouts is 438,858.28 GEL. If your amount is outside the limits or exceeds the reserve, the form will warn you, and support will explain what to do.

How Long It Takes to Get Lari After Sending ETH

The total time has two parts: the network confirms your transfer, then the operator manually processes the order and sends the payout. The payout itself takes 30 minutes to 72 hours.

Network confirmations

Until the transfer receives the required number of confirmations, the rate is not locked. This number is listed in the site rules. Speed depends on network congestion and on the fee you set when sending.

Manual processing and the bank

An operator checks each order, so the payout is not automatic. If speed matters, the form offers the paid option "I need it urgently".

When to check your order

  1. Find the transaction hash in your wallet or on the exchange.
  2. Open it in a block explorer and make sure the transfer is confirmed.
  3. Compare the address and amount with the order.
  4. If everything matches but the payout deadline has passed, contact support.

Give the order number and the transaction hash. You do not need to send the ether again.

Fees for Exchanging ETH to GEL

BTCChange24 charges no separate fee for the exchange, as it is already included in the rate. The amount of lari you receive is shown in the form before you create the order.

Costs outside the exchange

When sending ether, you pay the network fee, and it does not go to the exchange. Its size depends on your wallet and network load. If you send from an exchange, it usually also charges a withdrawal fee.

Additional paid options

  • "Personal payment to friends";
  • "I need it urgently";
  • "I want it as one payment";
  • "I need a payment screenshot";
  • "Priority support";
  • "Tip to the service";
  • "Fixed rate".

None of these are required. If you tick an option, its effect on the total will be shown in the form before you create the order.

How to compare offers fairly

Enter the same amount of ETH in different exchangers and compare the total in lari. The fee size on its own says little.

How to Correctly Fill in the IBAN and Recipient Details

Lari are sent to the details in your order, so a mistake there is the most costly. Check every field before sending ether.

  • IBAN. Copy it from your banking app or contract, without adding spaces or extra characters. It must be an account that can receive lari.
  • First and last name. Write them exactly as they appear at your bank. If the account is not yours, check the "Personal payment to friends" option.
  • Phone number linked to the bank. Enter the number you gave the bank when opening the account.
  • E-mail. Use a working address so we can contact you about the order.

Noticed a mistake after creating the order? Do not send ether. Create the order again or contact support.

Safety When Sending ETH and Receiving Lari in a Bank Account

Check the ERC20 network

Before sending, make sure your wallet or exchange sends ether specifically via ERC20. Take the address and network only from your current order.

Do not use old addresses

The site shows its own details for each order. If someone in a message asks you to send ether to a different address, do not follow the request.

Check the IBAN before sending

A bank transfer is harder to reverse than fixing a typo before payment. Compare the IBAN in the order with the original character by character.

Do not share access

A seed phrase, private key, wallet password or bank SMS codes are not needed for the exchange. Do not give them to anyone, even to people who claim to be service staff.

Write only to official support

Discuss order questions in the chat on the site or in Telegram, the link to which is provided by the site. Any other "helpers" may be scammers.

If Your ETH to Lari Exchange Goes Wrong

The transfer was sent but the order is stuck

Find the transaction hash. If you do not have it, the transfer may not have been sent, so check the withdrawal history on the exchange. If you have it, check in a block explorer whether the transaction is confirmed, and compare the address and amount.

The lari amount differs from the estimate

The rate floats and is locked only after confirmations, so the result may have changed with the market. Next time, you can choose the "Fixed rate" option.

You sent a different amount of ETH than in the order

Do not send the difference in a separate transfer. Contact support with the order number, the actual amount and the transaction hash.

There is a mistake in the IBAN or name

If you have not sent the ether yet, create a new order with the correct details. If you have sent it, contact support immediately, while the payout has not yet been made.

The lari have not arrived

First, check the payout deadline and the order status. If the deadline has passed or the order is completed but no money has arrived, check the account history at your bank and write to the operator.
